The Church of the Archangels is an Orthodox Christian community that welcomes everyone.

We experience the love of Jesus Christ and we proclaim and celebrate the Good News of salvation for all God’s people through prayer, worship, fellowship, education, compassion, service, and outreach.

Welcome, Fr. Joseph Collins

Fr. R. Joseph Collins was appointed our Parish Priest by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, effective August 1, 2025. A graduate of Hellenic College and of Holy Cross, where he earned his Master of Divinity in 2013, he was ordained to the priesthood on May 15, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York. He comes to Stamford from Holy Twelve Apostles in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and he and Presvytera Melanie have three children, Ty, Mikayla, and J.D.

Since 1928 Founded by families from Annunciation parish, the Archangels consecrated the present temple in November 1959, the first consecration celebrated by Archbishop Iakovos as Archbishop of America.
